It's fine its the radiator fan. It helps displace the heat from the engine. If your Canyon's at a certain temperature when you turn it off one of the computers will tell the fan to keep running for a certain amount of time. This will extend life of the engine instead of it just shutting the fan off.

Remove the kick plate under the glove compartment and the module is right next to your blower motor - remove the two screws and it will drop right out.
