It is horrible to think that part of the reason plenty of young women won't get a shot at hockey broadcasting jobs might be the (deserved) overwhelmingly negative feedback Hextall gets. When listening to Hextall call games, I feel like she has no idea what is actually playing out on the ice. Adding to that, her calls for goals, saves, etc, just are brutal to listen to.
