I took our 2017 back to the local Infiniti dealer after test driving two 2018 models which did not make the clunk sound and made the "new" service manager ride in and drive ours where he heard and felt the same clunk when starting from a dead stop. They had it for 3 weeks and determined it was a bad motor mount.Immediately driving off. This certainly sounds like something that I would no longer drive and have it towed to be checked.
