Anyway it had been sitting out covered for 3 years and I decided yesterday to give it a try. Wow. It only cuts a 42 inch swath but it is much smoother than my lawnmower.Casting code letter A could be 1955 or 1977. The numbers indicate April 19th. Your profile indicates a 59 Cub so IMO you should check other casting dates to determine if the final drives might have been changed (that's a pretty common parts swap).
