Re: Rest stops. There are no official ADOT rest areas between Sedona and Las Vegas driving via Hwy 89a (or I-17) north to Flagstaff, then I-40 to Kingman and 93 to Las Vegas. Not sure about every 15-20 minutes, but there are definitely gas stations/truck stops along I-40 in Bellemont, Ash Fork, Seligman and Kingman.
