I took my 028 WB to the Stihl dealer and they initially declared my ignition module faulty, then said that they screwed up and my carb was bad and refused to do anything further since the "Stihl" part # carb isn't made anymore. Probably not. As far as I know the Stihl 028 WB saws with the solid looking brake handle don't have the brake. The 028AV saws have one. To the uninformed on ebay they bring about the same price so you could sell the WB and buy an AV. Probably be less trouble than switching parts around. This is an AV, you can see the difference in the brake handle.
