So far I have figured out how to find just the first and last event for a given time range but if the time range is 5 days I'll get the earliest event for the first day and the last event on the last day.I have a search created, and want to get a count of the events returned by date. I know the date and time is stored in time, but I dont want to Count By _time, because I only care about the date, not the time. Is there a way to get the date out of _time (I tried to build a rex, but it didnt work..) ...I am using timechart to build a graph for the last 7 days. the chart by default uses _time as the format for the Graph. I would like the output to only show timeformat="%A" Day of the week format
