SDA is in my opinion the best follower mod you can have. It expands the relationship between serana and the dragonborn in an immersive way. Serana sounds less like this ancient, confident yet torn vampire and more like an insecure schoolgirl relying on the player for approval. I don't necessarily mind changing the personality of an existing character - if a modder wants to do that, go ahead. But the mod shouldn't be presented as a "dialogue add-on" then.
