I like the Bravo, but the X-ray is not the "chassis look" version of the bravo... its essentially the polymer/less adjustable version of the Whiskey-3. Completely different between the X-ray and the Bravo. Having held and handled a couple Bravo's, the X-Ray is definitely more like the Whiskey-3...which is why I got it.

I like the xray grip better as it gives more control when moving with the weapon. However the ergos of the buttstock/comb are definitely more tactical/prs oriented. If you already shoot with a chassis a lot, it may not feel much different.

As though the current stock designs weren’t enough, there are also hybrid stocks like the KRG Bravo, MDT XRS, Magpul Hunter, and recently released MDT HNT26 stocks which set a partial chassis and into a synthetic stock. Some are designed for hunting and competition; the MDT is designed specially to be a lightweight hunting stock.

I’m paying Canadian, so the KRG costs about $600 and the Cadex about $650. I haven’t heard a lot about the Cadex but I’m assuming it’s of higher quality/QC. I am in need of some help making a decision. I just traded for a new CZ 457 Varmint 22 LR. I have narrowed my choices down to either the KRG Bravo or the MDT XRS. The only chassis I have ever owned was an Oryx. I know that I don't want to go that route again. As far as ergonomics go, they appear to be pretty close.

Looking at these 3 for a for an older 700P. Im thinking Manners T5, stock pack has worked well for me. But the XRS looks well made and designed for a budget chassis. And of course the KRG is highly recommended here. Gun would be for bench shooting/random hunting. Should I even call the XRS and Bravo budget?
