Since the engine turns off shortly after starting your weed eater, the idle speed may just be too slow. Find the screw to adjust the idle speed. Failure to start the trimmer. Check the oil condition. Trimmer headline does not spin. Lubricate the trimmer line and clean it. Trimmer vibrates. Clean & lubricate the shaft. Echo trimmer head stuck.
