I've got Jen to 31 loyalty, let her inventory restock after that, and checked every tab in it and she does not have any mastery books for sale. Erika Hammer is a legendary hammer that uses less stamina than the plasma and titanium versions. Of course you have to get it in loot. From the little I've played with Darkness Falls, it's brutal pretty much from the off. A brawler build isn't impossible but you definitely need some ranged power.
