Bowfa at Various Bosses. I'm slowly approaching 95 slayer and end game PVM content. My next task before I start end game PVM is to obtain the bowfa and crystal armour. After obtaining, I will be killing Zulrah with the bowfa to obtain all three uniques. Other bosses peak my curiosity on whether or not the bowfa will be good.
You'd have to be a masochist to sign up for potentially 1k+ zulrah kills without a Bowfa. Just get bowfa pre-zulrah, pipe sucks before masori anyway and the upkeep on it is brutal. Bowfa-only zulrah is definitely the way to go pre-speedrun gear (very distant future).Muspah, zulrah, Commander Zilyana, low invoc ToA. Zulrah becomes so easy with bowfa! General garagedoor. I know this is about bowfa & tbow but if bank value isn’t a issue the shadow is a noticeable difference at TOA if you plan on camping there.
Bowfa is a long enough grind without making it 10x longer with deaths and slow clears. Maybe greenlog Perilous Moons, do slayer until trident, then TOA for Fang. Ruby bolts can somewhat make up for the mediocrity of RCB in TOA, while Sunlight Crossbow or Atlatl are good in places like zulrah and shamans where ruby bolts don't carry so much weight.

Do mage only and hide behind pillars when mage phase is up. I’ve recently been farming Zulrah with BP only and its surprisingly doable. I have 99 range though and use eagle eye. Sip Range pot after every 2 kills. Average kill time is around 2:20 which I’m happy with personally. Also use god d’hide over Karils.

For future reference, BP is still BIS in many places, just as long you're using Addy or stronger darts - preferably Rune/Amyst. Too answer your question yes. Tbow->BowFa->BP. Wrong, blow pipe with dragon darts beat bowfa. Zulrah is very chill with bowfa only, sometimes you get unlucky and end up going into a new phase during kills but you'll probably have KC's averaging around 2:20. Muspah is arguably even more chill with bowfa only imo. Learn the step back method for melee phase and you'll be laughing, I found kills took me longer when I brought a mage switch tbh. 5k Zulrah kc bowfa only, 6-7 kills per inve, 55 second pb, no thralls. Interested in hearing what your inve setup looks like.. I bring 3 restores, 2 brew, 1 range pot, 1 antivenom+, ring of dueling, Zulrah tele, blowpipe, 6 karambwan, 12 sharks…. Elite void is 12,5% damage and 10% accuracy and no ranged bonus. Crystal armor with barrows gloves is 15% damage and 30% accuracy with +70 range bonus. So you'll hit nearly as hard but waaaay less accurate.
