Hoping there was something for tether distance on non dedicated. The purpose of this is to be able to transfer from ark to ark with my friends without having to rent servers. I know that everyone will have to transfer all at once, but im fine with that. But the tether distance is just dumb.

Yes same here they need to fix this I put my tethering distance at 1000000 and it was still about 180m also the fact that 180m is no distance at all my mates can't even leave our base. Seeing as the tether distance setting does exist ingame and just doesn't work at the moment this is likely a bug that will be fixed sooner or later. Hopefully soon rather than later.

The tether is now set at 5 or 9, but somehow we can still separate and glide all over the map without triggering this minimal tether, so long as we don't change zones. It is almost as though the tether setting is no longer real. Change it to 99, unless you go into a cave or smth it shouldn't pull you.
