Nov 3, 2013 · They were very helpful and within literally 15 seconds had the answer I needed. It turns out that when they changed the scion Tc wheel pattern from 5x100 to 5x114.3 they also increased the hub center as well to 60.1mm. So it's an exact fit for the wheels on both the bolt pattern and the hub size just like the factory 2011 Xb wheels currently on ...

Yes you can probably bolt the 5-speed auto tranny from the Camry to the Scion's engine but you will have to swap the ECU from the Camry as well as the Scion ECU is not designed for a 5-speed auto, just the 4-speed. It will blow cool air until you turn the motor off or push the A/C button off and then start the process all over again. Sometimes it takes longer to come on and sometimes when you stop some where turn the car back ... The Hyundai never gave me a problem towing. I'd still get 29mpg towing (60-65mph). I changed the oil regularly and used synthetic and changed tranny fluid every 60,000. The xB should tow fine.
