I trust these folks and if they says it's loose, you can bet it is. I've done a quick search and can't see this has been raised before. On a few occassions with a fully charged battery the low battery charge indicator has appeared on my D700 and I have lost power. After reinserting the battery power is restored and everything is fine. It's happened about half a dozen times over the last few months.
