GGEZ wherever you go but can run out of sticky ammo mid-hunt, hope your teammates maximize DPS with the openings you make and don't ever cluster on a teammate's area. Pure slicing: zinogre LBG but runs out of slicing ammo fast.

The Felyne Valstrax set provides the highest defense for Palicoes in the base game. It is better used against monsters with Dragon Type attacks. However, this set provides negative resistances for most of the elements. But having 155 defense is a good trade-off for having negative elemental resistance. I dont see any big benefits for LBG, especially for elemental pierce builds. Dereliction / Dragon Conversion charms are likely better than AB / Spare Shot ones, freeing an armor piece from that. Especially Dereliction because Dragon Conversion can be augmented. Amatsu's skill is not worth it IMO because requires all 3 pieces to get the ammo ...
