I found a cooking pot and I’d like to be able to boil water to fill bottles and avoid getting one tapped at the well. I figured out how to use the pot to fill bottles, but I never got clear feedback during the process whether the pot boiled for long enough to purify the water. You can but loot containers have a 50/50 on being infected or clean. It's best practice to do one of the below. - Use a chlorine tablet on a loot container to make it safe. - Empty to container and fill it up form a fresh water source (Well, river, trough etc.) If you have tetra on you, you can take the risk but its also a waste of tetra.The only source of clean water on official dayz is wells, even then you must have clean hands, if you have skinned any animals without gloves on. Wash hands before you drink or eat anything.
