We visited Leland Snowplay as a family with a young child. The place was swamped since it was a holiday weekend. The ticket lines were not too long though, but mind you the lines are same for tickets, food or purchasing gloves/shoes. We liked the slopes for tubing. They were well maintained and the big slopes were a lot of fun for us.The closest tubing area to Dodge Ridge is Leland Snow Play. The big hill is about eight lanes of tubing and provides both children and adults with lots of fun. Children have to be 44” to ride the tow. For more info on Leland Snow Play, check snowplay.com. If you are looking for a natural, effortless, family fun, snow play park than Leland is the place. We didn't know about it until we traveled on MLK weekend. The resort was busy due to holiday weekend but the service, facilities (including restroom, cafe, lift, tubes, etc) were outstanding and excellent.
