None, really. If you want an OP elemental rapier, use the uninfused Chaos Rapier with Charcoal Pine Resin. Rapiers are best off as uninfused weapons. The base damage+scaling+140/120 counter rating+leo ring (12,5% counter boost) is very powerful. This is probably a dumb question, but have any of the patch notes ever addressed the whole OP estoc issue? Haven't played in a few months and I'm curious if From ever did anything about this. I think all they did was slow down the spam a tiny bit. Still OP. You'd be surprised how much that actually nerfed the weapon.
The only Estoc that is D/D is the one in Dark Souls 3, and that's only when it is completely unupgraded. One upgrade level changes it to D/C. The Estoc in DS2 starts at C/D and ends at +10 as B/D. Whenever someone invades me, I, for the most part, cheese them mercilessly with but a few simple light stabs from Estoc. It's absolutely insane how much damage it does, in both PvE and PvP, and I've yet to fight anyone else who uses it. I'm the only person I've run into who seems to use the glory that is Bestoc.

I just upgraded and infused an Estoc on my Raw build which has 35 strength and 18 dex, the raw estoc goes down to an E/E scaling and I get an AR of 241+70 (311) with a ring of blades +2.
