Thralls, I do Bowfa only Zulrah with Serpentine Helm and thralls summon for maximum laziness while on mobile. Thralls don't really speed up my kills in a way that I can feel, but they do really make my kills more consistent since I'm not using a mage switch. I just did a zulrah grind this weekend with serp/bowfa. Around 890 kills and average time to kill was around 1:20 with a high of 2 min and low of 1 min. Definitely worth losing a little dps to be able to use thralls/venge as opposed to cure me/AV. Just my opinion though

However, bp is still well worth getting but even to get bp it's easiest to just get a bofa first and use that at zulrah. Bofa, I basically only use blowpipe for spec. Wouldn't recommend skipping zulrah. You can do crystal armour bowfa/crystal bow only to farm it. Magic fang and blowpipe are both pretty useful items. They're both skippable but they'll hold you back a lot in terms of raiding. If you really wanted to, you can do range only zulrah with an rcb to learn the rotations.
