Hi. STEM OPT is only for 3 years. Chances are that if you get NIW approved today you might not get GC in those 3 years due to backlogs, even for ROW. Now applying for H1b, there is this moment. If your employer is cap exempted, then yes whatever, can switch later. However if they aren’t, you can’t miss I single year not entering the lottery.
