While trapper saddles are undeniably the best saddles stat wise, the beaver saddle gives the highest health core drain rate (26%) and the panther saddle provides the highest stamina core drain rate (also 26%). Look closer at the stats in the stables. All of the Trapper saddles also come with a -50% SDR (same as the best stirrup). They also boost the top speed and acceleration by 2 (same as the best stirrup). They are the best saddles in the game.
