you could barricade the oustide by building wooden fooor through the north window and around the house. you could also get a sledgehammer to destroy the stair, make a temporal floor to barricade and then build a stair with carpentry level 6 or a fence with a rope. Barricading second floor windows are pointless.

As long as the car is close enough to the wall they won't be able to path to the window. They may be able to crawl under cars but that's useless if they can't get up.
