My last couple of WBPP runs have had issues during the "Plate solving reference frames" and "autocrop" steps. Used to work fine. During those steps, it tries to plate solve as illustrated by this log snippet: * Using an automatically calculated limit magnitude of 16.39. * Using the automatically selected GaiaDR2 catalog.This night I installed the complete set. Just in the download folder, not in Pixinsight folder. In the morning SPCC worked. Then I had to go to work and forgot to save the project. Tonight after work, I started SPCC again and it doesn't work again. It comes up with the message, no stars found. I resolved the issue by a clean install of the OS and then a new install of PixInsight. Not optimal but there appeared to be something in my migration from an M1 Mac to the M3.

Ensure that the image still has the mask protecting everything but the background. Open the Convolution tool and set the Std Dev to around 5 and apply to the background. You may need to apply this more than once. The background will now be smoother, but may still be a bit blotchy so on to step 2.
