The app works great. The issue is that I think the Tesla is not getting garage door state from myQ, but trying to remember it separately. So, if I open it with the car but somebody else closes it with a HomeLink remote, Tesla still thinks the door is open. (The myQ app would know it is closed.)

My problem was that after Homelink was installed last week it would not automatically close the garage door. Or course I had it set. It worked perfectly to open the door when I came home. I have a Genie brand that is older and has the rotating code type of remote. There used to be a method to drag to reorder. Looks like it's been removed. Looks like now doors are in alphabetical order, so renaming might be the method. For anyone else who finds this and have multiple hubs: The doors are sorted first by hub name alphabetically. You'll need to rename the hub NOT the door to change the order.1.) start fresh, disconnect the battery backup, unplug the motor wait a bit then plug back in. 2.) get the app to the point where it has the button for "I pressed it".
