Advice would be much appreciated! I admit I now feel a little disillusioned days after buying the C2. I pulled the trigger on it after doing some homework to make sure there wouldn't be major issues. I knew of ColorControl and LGTV Companion before buying it, having read that either of those two software is a must when running an LG TV as a PC monitor.

The LGTV companion was running great with my 1080ti on my LG C2 42" tv. I recently swapped gpu's to a 3070, ran DDU in safe mode and reinstalled the latest drivers. All is well and everything is smooth. However, when toggling HDR or adjusting scale size the tv is automatically going into the Always On standby mode.

LGTV companion is a desktop app. Uses Wake-on-lan to get your C2 to wake and up and go to sleep with your PC just as a normal monitor would. the ABL hasn't bothered me even slightly but it does others so that's something you'd have to see for yourself. Hi @Chris0706 indeed it looks liike the app cannot connect to the TV over the network - looks like the TV is not present on the network. I agree that the WiFi could be the issue as there is evidence to support that if the TV for some reason lose the connection to the WiFi it will not automatically reconnect until it is manually powered on.
