Yesterday I have earned this achievement (took 4 attempts, 7:50 last one, yep, I'm pretty slow), but I did not actually send a satellite because I was not able to make it in time with space science research (I believe this is new in 0.17, previously researching silo was enough). So, instead of satellite I did something else (spoilers, ahem ...Pick a favorable map seed, you dont need to spawn enemies and you can turn up all resource values. You want a science ratio somewhere around 30-45 packs per minute, except red and green, get somewhere between 60 and 90 per minute of those. Purple and yellow science are incredibly expensive.
