Day trading on ameritrade.
I was under the impression that the money will be available immediately to trade but it looks like TD Ameritrade locks the funds after the transaction for the remainder of the day which means I cannot make the 2nd trade. Isn't this against the rules of Day Trading? Or am I wrong in my understanding on how the system works. Thanks!
